a new collaboration
When Andrew Jones and Jamie Cerreta met at a pressing plant in 2024, launching a speaker company together was the furthest thing from their minds. After talking about vinyl listening and tube amplification, they quickly learned that they have very similar tastes in what a speaker should have: high efficiency, exceptional voicing, and deep bass.
Andrew had been dreaming about a speaker design that he had yet to attempt. He wanted to blend incredible sound with an aesthetic to complement stylish homes. Jamie and his brother Bill were looking to do something together in the audio space and Andrew’s vision was perfectly aligned with the speaker they always wished they had.
Now in 2026, that vision has become the first speaker offered by Jones and Cerreta.
Andrew Jones
Lead Speaker Designer and Co-Founder
Andrew’s lifelong passion for audio became focused on loudspeakers in his youth. He studied physics with an interest in acoustics and completed research in the fields of xover design and active noise cancellation. Andrew became Chief Engineer at KEF and worked extensively with concentric driver technology. At the invitation of Floyd Toole, he moved to the USA to work for Infinity.
Andrew later joined Pioneer to lead a speaker development team. He helped instigate the formation of TAD HOME AUDIO, bringing TAD out of the professional and into the home market. The principal feature was the development of the first, and still only, beryllium concentric driver. In 2015 Andrew helped start the North American division of ELAC as V.P. of Engineering, and in 2021 he was invited to join MoFi Electronics to design an innovative new line of loudspeakers.
Jamie Cerreta
Creative Strategy and Co-Founder
Jamie is responsible for overseeing Jones and Cerreta’s creative strategy, and is currently serving as Peermusic’s President in the U.S and Canada. As a music publishing executive with over 25 years of experience championing top names in the industry, Jamie is dedicated to using his creative influence to introduce Jones and Cerreta to the audiophile community. Jamie currently serves on the Executive Board of the National Music Publisher’s Association S.O.N.G.S. Foundation to enhance opportunities and to help build careers for the next generation of songwriters and music creators.
Additionally, Jamie has worked with artists Ray Lamontagne, My Morning Jacket, and Manchester Orchestra and also signed new artist/writers Blake Mills, Ethan Gruska, Weyes Blood, Beach House, FIDLAR, Phoelix, and Lucy Dacus.
Bill Cerreta
CEO and Co-Founder
An electrical engineer by trade, Bill has 30 years of experience leading teams in Silicon Valley. He currently serves as an executive at Pure Storage developing products for the next generation of data centers. Music has been a huge part of his life since his formative years. An avid record collector, Bill has travelled across the US, Europe, and Japan to find the perfect pressing.
When not distracted by vinyl, he restores and builds vintage tube gear, receivers, and speakers. He’s passionate about listening to audio, tracing the history of music, and seeing live performances. Jones and Cerreta is the next step on a journey that he hopes will never end.
